This auction is for a 1955 Mercury Montclair 2 Door Hardtop. It belongs to a friend of mine that asked me if I would put it on Ebay for him. The car is a rust free car from New Mexico. Still has all its original panels! The paint is starting to show its age and probably should be freshened up. The car has a 1957 312 V-8 with automatic transmission, standard steering and brakes. There is a slight sound when the motor is running. It appears that it may be a wrist pin noise. It has not bothered in the last 20 years of driving it. Car has been to numerous car shows and events and has been driven everytime but the noise is there and you should know that. The interior was re-done many years ago. Not correct style but looks fine. Bumpers and stainless are in decent shape. Some one installed lake pipes on it. Overall this is a real nice car that you can get in, drive and enjoy now and do it up nicer at a later date.
