Extremely rare factory stock CRX Si. No "Tuner" mods. Less than 5,200 miles per year. Completely rustfree vehicle. Vehicle has spent 21 of its 24 years in Arizona. EXTERIOR BODY Very straight body. No door dings or dents. No cracked plastic body panels. Original paint on the sheet metal body parts, Plastic fenders, nose panel and plastic rocker panels were completely stripped and repainted. All sheet metal behind the plastic body parts were hand rustproofed by brush. Rear "soft" spoiler shows no signs of internal frame rust (no surface bubbling). INTERIOR Extremely clean interior. No signs of wear and tear. Carpet on driver's side shows no wear. No tears in the seats. Seats have had padded full covers for nearly all its life. Front dashboard comes with a custom cover. Everything works, sunroof, alarm system, etc... ENGINE COMPARTMENT Very clean engine compartment, no known motor problems, vehicle passed its last and final Ohio EPA emmissions test this year with no problems. Have the data report for review. SUSPENSION AND DRIVETRAIN Vehicle drives solid on the road. No rattles or creaks. Brakes stop smoothly. Clutch grabs smoothly. Transmission shifts tight and crisp. Michelin tires have about 90% of the tread life left. To make this a true "Showroom" vehicle, the following items would need to be addressed: The front bumper below the driver's side headlamp needs touchup paint The passenger side outer CV axle rubber boot shows signs of stress cracks Replace the Momo steering wheel with a stock unit (I prefer the grip "feel" of the Momo unit) The rear hatch support pistons need to be replaced (they don't always keep the hatch up - very warm weather only). This vehicle will be 25 yrs old next year and will be eligible for historic plates. The March 2006 Hemmings Magazine listed the 1984-1987 CRX's as one of the top ten "Sleeper" collector cars for the future. This vehicle is ready for the weekend cruise-ins.
