I have a 88 GTA Trans AM for sale. It has the digital display, power everything, 135000 milles on it, 5.7L engine, Automatic 700R4 trany with a posi rear end and the WS6 Suspension package. I was going to fully restore the car but I'm now getting divorsed so I'm forced to sell. THE GOOD: The body is in very good shape for a 88, there are little dings here and there and some A hole scratched the hood. interior is in good condition, the front driver seat it tore up but I have seat covers to cover it up. Back seats are in perfect shape. I have replaced, fuel pump, fuel filter, flywheel,shifter cable, u joints,spark plugs,ign cap, ign rotor,ign coil, ign wires, mass air flo sensor, oxygen sensor, distributor, ign module, Magnetic pick up coil, most under the hood relays, vacuum lines, lift support struts for the hood and many interior parts. even the motorized trunk release works fine! THE BAD:The previous owner thought it was a good idea to have 2 alarms, well they shorted out. Had them taken out and wired all wires back to stock specs...but for some reason the parking lights don't come on anymore, I was told a loose wire. The head lights turn on but the headlight motors are shot. the other prob I have is that I pulled and replaced the distributor myself and now the car don't runs a little rough. My buddy said I have to take it in to get the timing set right, it fires right up but u can feel the timing ain't right. these things are minor but I can't spend anymore money on it due to my current situation. The car attracts a lot of att. because it looks good and it's all original right down to all 4 of the center caps. Well, there it is. The car is SOLD AS IS and there is no warranty.
