Vehicle Detail
This auction is for my 1997 dodge dually that I bought last year to pull my boat back and forth to Florida. I did alot of research before buying this truck and specifically wanted the 12 valve cummins. the 12v does not have the same faulty injector pump that is on the 24 valve engines, and dependability was my top priority. I have since traded that boat on one too big to tow and no longer have a need for this truck. When I bought it it had around 160+ on it and I have since made the following modifications to it: New fuel filter, oil, trans fluid, seat bottoms, carpet, timing, killer dowel pin installed with new front engine gasket, a/c service with new heater core, 5" custom exhaust from the turbo back, 3 gauge pillar with boost/pyro/and trans temp, torque converter lock module, new front brakes, a dvd fm/ipod/cd player, window tint, and a high flow cold air induction system. The tires are good on the truck, although when I rotated them, they now need a balancing. The previous owner had installed a heavy duty billet aluminum transmission, wicked wheel turbo upgrade, I belive 100hp injectors, new fuel pump, custom powder coated steel diamond plate rockers that look awesome, rear back up lamp, hella driving lamps, and new paint. He did the paint himself, so it isnt perfect, but looks good enough for what the truck is. The hood is painted matte black for a one of a kind look to set it off from the black grille and bumper. Looks really good, kinda "blacked out". He also installed angel eye halo high intensity headlights right before I bought it. They need to be aimed, but I figure the tire balancer could do that at the same time. The truck makes incredible power, and still gets around 20mpg depending on the weight of your foot. It has been a very dependable truck and never given me a lick of problems (except the heater core which I replaced... It fires right off, can idle for days or run wide open till the fuel is cut off. Air is cold, everything works as it should. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere in the country right this second. It is also a 4x4! I expect any all all potential buyers to come see and drive this truck for themselves. Its big and its loud and its powerful. It was my daily driver before I just purchased a smaller car. It is being offered at no reserve to the highest bidder. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit due at the close of the auction so know what you are buying. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction close. Email me any questions or for scheduling a time to see it.
