Vehicle Detail

This is a car that I purchased 3 years ago from California. There is no rust that I am aware of. There was some surface rust in the front trunk, but it has been treated. and is not a problem. Battery box had some rust out, but bracing was installed and a bottom added to hold the battery. The cross brace under the car is fine. The car had a new paint job a few years ago, but it is not a high quality one. Looks ok from a few feet away, but there is some cracking in the layers under the new coat. It is solid though. There is some bondo in the drivers side door and the rear lower portion of the front fender on that side. It has been kept in the garage since I have owned it and has not been driven during the winter or seen any road salt. The interior rubber floor matting is in good condition. The dash has only one area of damage. There is a crack or split in the lower portion where the drop down tray and access to the front trunk latch is. Also the metal panels in the dash have been covered with carbon fiber. I didn't want to hack up the dash to install a radio, so it is installed in the front trunk with a wired remote control mounted under the dash on the front of the heater assembly. The car starts and runs fine. The transmission works fine in all gears, no grinding or syncro problems. I have taken it on several trips of 200 miles or so without any issues. Since I have owned it, I have installed a new convertible top, water pump, electronic ignition, door and hood seals, seat upholstery, brake master cylinder, throttle cable, axel boots and seals, clutch, throwout bearing, rubber transmission and engine supports, rebuilt alternator, heater valve and radiator and heater hoses. The radiator was checked and cleaned and I replaced the tubes inside of the car that go to the heater with copper lines alongside the tunnel under the floor matting. There are extra parts that can go with this including 2 transmissions, a hard top and an engine that needs to be assembled, but I will not pack and ship any of these items, you will need to pick them up. I have just purchased a Bertone x1/9 and only have room in the garage for one, so this one needs to go, otherwise it would not be available. Any other questions feel free to ask. This vehicle is sold as is where is with no warranty. The winning bidder will need to make all arrangements for receiving & transporting the vehicle. $500 deposit due at auction end via Paypal with the balance due within 7 days.
