For sale, 1965 lincoln continental , originally a Texas car and purchased two years ago from Reno Nevada. First year for four piston power disc brakes , 430 ci. V8 motor , 3 speed automatic dual range transmission. An original black on black leather car with black laether haedliner. PWR steering , brakes , windows , vent windows , antenna ,cruise control ( doesn`t work ), 8 way power bench seat , power vacume door locks . A/C ( works but doesn`t blow cold air ) intermittent window wipers . All power features work except the A/C and cruise control . All dash instuments and guages work , even the clock ! Dash is excellent , leather roof liner is perfect , carpet is very good , front seat has a 5 inch seperation the back seat is good . Rear bumper has rust and there are the beginnings of some bubbling at the lower front driver side door . Other than that the panel fit is impeccable , all doors ,trunk and hood close effortlessly , there are no scratches , chips , cracks , or runs in the paint ,the bumpers are hung concentric and level to the car ( rare for these Lincolns ) The brakes , drive shaft , fuel pump , water pump , have been serviced recently .New hoses and belts . Dual exhaust . New Centerline wheels and Hankook tires . The car drives perfectly straight , doesn`t pull or drift or vibrate at highway speeds , no rattles no shakes , the brakes don`t pulsate or pull , stops very nice and smooth . Doesn`t smoke or leak . Runs on 87 octane fuel without pinging or knocking , runs very cool with the factory stock raised intake manifold . In my opinion the 430 ci. motor is the best lincoln motor !
