This MG is not a show car by any means but a good, solid, reliable driver. I have owned it for 5 plus years and have taken it on several fairly long trips (1750 miles) and it has performed very well. Mileage is not accurate as the speedo doesn't work, closer to 120,000. Car has a very nice soft top, tonneau and aftermarket hardtop. Body: No real rust other than 2 holes in the drivers footwell and one on the passenger side. I have not repaired them as I never drive it in the rain and you don't notice them under the mats. Sills and rockers are solid. Needs body work behind the wheel well on the right front and by the bumper guard on the right rear. Front apron needs repair. Windshield is cracked but a good replacement goes with the car. Paint: Has an older marginal repaint. Normal nicks and chips for age. Interior: Seat covers and panels in brown from a later B. In good condition except for 1 minor split seam in the drivers bottom. I have several new carpet pieces I think are for a B including the tunnel section and they come with the car. It also comes with an AAMCO console which I guess is a rare accessory. Power Train: Engine starts and runs well every time. Transmission is quiet and shifts well, synchros are good. Rear end is quiet. Clutch is solid as are brakes. New radiator and brake master 5 years ago. Good Michelin tires. Electrical: Speedo, tach and fuel guage do not work. I purchased a Sun Tach which is extremely accurate and installed it on the console. I have never missed the others because most of them are never accurate any way. Nothing really worked when I got the car so I bypassed the stock loom in places and it now has all lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, heater blower, etc., everything but parking lights. I was going to pull the dash when I redid the car but never got to it. This is a car that could be used as a driver or restored to a really nice car. It is titled, registered, and insured in my name and driven occasionally to keep it loose. Car is located in Las Vegas, New Mexico about 60 miles east of Santa Fe on I25. I can possibly deliver it within 150 miles for $.85 a loaded mile but please ask first. Car and mileage will need to be paid before delivery. Please e-mail questions and please bid responsibly.
