I'am now relisting this car, which was sold locally, but do to the buyer loosing his job I'am relisting on ebay. This is a Very RARE 1954 Mercury Woody Wagon. I have been told this is one of 372 built with real wood trim and one of less than 1200 produced, I have only been able to discover 12 remaining and of these, 7 are restored or in restorable condition . This car is mostly complete minus front,rear and some side glass,which was broken by vandals, but I believe you can use 54 Ford Wagon glass. The car is equipped with the original Mercury 256 V8 auto, also had a rare dealer installed McColluch Supercharger, which is now gone. The body has been stripped of paint and primed, by the previous owner and shows little major rust through, that I have noticed, I have replaced the original front fender which are included but have been cut up for hot rodding with a pair of very rust free ones. The front floor has had both sides replaced, I was going to replace these with new correct floor sections. The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, radio, power front seat and three row seating. Over all I would say this is an excellent restoration project. I have seen these sell from $50,000 to $100,000 restored. I know Woody,s are rare and how hard they are to find complete. I have no problem storing this car for a few months.
