The most interesting of all B-Bodies, in my humble opinion. All original 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Muscle Car Project . Was sitting for about 25 years in the same spot. Solid, Straight Body w/ some standard rust issues & easily repairable dents. We did some overall cleanup & found that the worst of the rust is along the trunk Drip rails, the Trans tunnel & in the Rear Passenger's Floor Pan. The other 3 pans have some rust, but are generally solid, as is the Trunk Pan. The body does need work, but there is no 'terminal-cancer-like rust' . Overall, the work needed is pretty straightforward. All chrome/trim is there & in good shape. The Interior is in GOOD shape & needs mostly cleanup & detailing. Somehow the seats & trim survived well. The Headliner will need replacing. All Glass is there, not cracked & rolls up/down w/ no problem. Mechanically, It's a Rolling Chassis that has a 318 V8 w/ a 904 transmission. Mech will need to be totally gone through. Does Not Run. I believe this to be numbers-matching but have not looked at the block yet. Good suspension, but brakes will need to be totally redone. Interior is all there & in very restorable shape. Hood is there - has some underside rust. A/C Car. Glass is all good. Clean Georgia Title - that is highly unusual for a car this old! Car needs a lot of Clean Up, some bodywork & new drivetrain, but is a really good base to begin with. Here's a great candidate for a Muscle Resto. On Jun-06-10 at 18:04:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Clarification: I define 'terminal-cancer-like rust' as being rust that has eaten through frame rails to where the car will be structurally unsound. I have not observed that on this car. I believe that the main work required would be to patch holes in the Trans Tunnel (or get a new Tunnel), Fab up some drip rail sections & patch the Floors. Or, one could go all the way & just put in a whole new floor section. personally, I would just patch. Please view the photos for more detail. On Jun-07-10 at 06:55:42 PDT, seller added the following information: 7 June10: I've had a couple of questions about the Hood - Yes, I do have the Hood, a stated in the original text. The outer part is in good shape, but there is some underside rust to be addressed - it IS fixable. I dug up one photo. The Hood was apparently taken off to pull the engine, which didn't seem to happen. It was put aside & a small tree grew through the louvered vents - somehow the tree did not damage the Hood - it seemed to grow around it! Anyway, that has all been removed & i can certify that the Hood has no vegetation, so you won't have to do any landscaping.
