Up for sale is a 2002 Jaguar X-Type. It has the V6 2.5L engine paired to an automatic transmission (transaxle). This Jaguar has all-wheel drive, which makes it suitable for any weather condition. The mileage is 117,XXX. The exterior is silver, with a white leather interior. This vehicle needs minor paint work and the driver's side headlight lens (or assembled) replaced. Currently, the vehicle does not run. The console states "DSC System Failure" and "Gearbox Fault." I have tried using an OBD-2 reader, but the code is not reading. The OBD-2 port on the vehicle does in-fact have power. I was told that it may either be an Engine Computer (ECU/ECM/PCM) or a Transmission Computer (TCU/TCM), due to moisture in the computer(s). Other owners have stated other fixes such as bad Starter Solenoid, Throttle Body issue or cracked Evap Line. Other owners have said it may be the J-gate shifter, or the fact that the vehicle is parked on an incline (the parking vehicle must be up when parked on any incline). All owners have stated it is an easy fix, but it takes time to pinpoint what it exactly is, and time is something I don't have. The engine does turn over manually, but due to the above issue, power is not sent to the starter. The vehicle has the following equipment. Keep in mind it may or may not have what is listed. The vehicle is in my name, and I have a Michigan green (clean) title. There are no liens or balances on this vehicle, meaning the title is readily transferable. The vehicle can be delivered at the buyer's expense. Buyer must pay for the vehicle in full prior to delivery company picking up the vehicle. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction's end (either PayPal or overnight Certified Check). The balance is due within 7 days of the auction's end. Both the deposit and balance can be paid within the first 48 hours if buyer chooses to do so. The vehicle must be shipped or picked up within 21 days of the auction's end.
