Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a two owner, very solid, Nevada car. This car is driver quality through and through. If you are looking for a great little driver you can enjoy while planning a full scale resto-mod, this is the perfect candidate. This car is very solid with very minor trunk rust form a rubber mat that was left in the trunk and became saturated and never removed. The rust is limited to scale and in no way needs a pan. All the panels are original to the car and nothing appears to have been replaced. The passenger side looks like it had a small repair done to it twenty years ago but is still has original metal. The drivetrain is as follows: a great running small block with about 5k on it and is not original to the car. It has an Edelbrock intake, and carb, Mallory ignition, and coated headers. New MSD wires, plugs and all related ignition parts are new. The motor runs great and is probably around 300hp. The trans is a turbo 350 with a very mild kit in it. It was rebuilt about 10K ago and is not original to the car. The rear end is an 8.2 ten bolt with an Auburn Posi and 4.10 gears. The car runs great but most of the suspension is original and could use a re-build. I have some replacement front end parts that go with the car. The car is very straight overall but has some minor parking lot dings and scratches, again this car is DRIVER quality. The glass and related trim is in very nice shape considering the age of the car, no chips or cracks. The rubber is pretty well baked from the sun but the upside of a dry climate is no rust. Take a good look at the underside pics and if you need more, let me know. The bottom of this car looks almost the same as the day it was made. The interior of the car is turquoise but the carpet and headliner are black. The headliner is in very good shape. The seats are fine but could stand a recovering as they are just tired but not ripped or sacked out. A really good detail would probably do wonders for the interior. The car was an original six cylinder, column shift car but if you know anything about these cars there is no difference in the body/chassis design, strength, or integrity in anyway. This car has been stored both inside and under a carport for the past 27 years so please try and be realistic about the condition of anything affected by a hot dry climate. Please be very specific with your questions and do not assume anything....The bumpers and chrome are in pretty good shape if you want to keep the car a driver, the window moldings fit really well and are not pitted. The tires have about 50% life left on them. The car has been lowered about three inches but was done prior to my ownership, it looks like blocks and springs. The paint is about ten years old and still looks pretty good for a driver. Again, if you want some specific pictures or have any questions please ask prior to bidding, you are not bidding to, "check it out." Also, I am not interested in trades unless your trade comes with 10K in cash along with it. I am also not interested in your overseas shipping scam or your cashier's check for more than the selling price B.S. Please do not waste my time, check out my feedback, I am not new to this. I am not disclosing the VIN for this specific reason. I will give it to all bonafide bidders with ten feedbacks or more or if we speak on the phone. Payment terms are as follows, if you win the car please be available to speak with me or contact me via e-bay or e-mail. I require a deposit of $1,000.00 within 24hours of the auction close, bank wire transfer, or cashier's check or whatever we discuss. I will send you the title via overnight, when you get it you pay the balance of the car in full prior to shipping the car. All funds must clear before the car leaves. Or, you can just pay for it when you pick it up but the timelines must be followed. In person pick up must be within one week from purchase or thereabouts. I can help you set up shipping as in I know and work with several companies but you are responsible for the cost and insurance. On Jun-07-10 at 23:27:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you need any other pics, motor, trunk etcc please include your email address with your request. Thanks....On Jun-10-10 at 07:12:16 PDT, seller added the following information: If you have fewer than 10 feedbacks or if you are brand new to ebay you must contact me via ebay "ask seller a question" and provide some contact info such as e-maill address or phone number so we can speak. Otherwise I reserve the right to cancel your bid.
