Vehicle Detail
This is being relisted due to a non paying bidder. If you are not sure if you want this car please DONT bid! This is a 79 280zx 2+2, 5 speed with 15,745 miles. This was suppose to be my project car. I've always loved older ZX. Inline 6 cylinder, rear wheel drive, manual trans. I acquired this car right before the winter of 2009. Before that it sat for 5 years at a friends driveway. So it hasnt been washed in over 5 years. I have since replaced the fuel pump (brand new) and have drained the gas tank and put in fresh gas :) The car starts without any hesitation, and idles perfectly. The seats (front and rear) were redone, and so is the roof liner. The tires have less than 10k miles before it was parked 5 years ago. We never had to add air to the tires, and shows no signs of dry rot. Car will come with 2 boxes of parts, some are new. Including a spare tailight, the radio, cas player, full size spare tire, and spare front and rear bumpers. The car is not registered, not insured and has an expired inspection sticker. So if you plan on test driving the car, please know that you will be responsible for the car and anything that happens while you are test driving the car. There will no reserve on this auction. You can contact me at 917-355-1855 for any questions you have. Please serious buyers only. And please dont bid if you dont intend buy or pay. I require some type a payment of at least $50, within 48 hours after the auction. Please understand that this car is over 30 years old and there are rust. Even though i know this car will start and drive, i wouldnt drive it away after paying for it. You would be able to, but i would just get it towed to be safe. I mean it sat for at least 5 years. I longest i have driven the car is about 10 feet...moved it forward and backed it up to its spot to see it the clutch and brakes worked, and they did.
