This is a 1976 Triumph Spitfire, 1500 series. Red, original owner. Sister bought new off the lot when she was needing a car for college. Vehicle is in good condition and good shape. Runs fine. Only reason selling is because she had a stroke and won't use it any more. Interior is in good condition, reupholstered three years ago. Was actually used for years so it's had it's normal repairs and fix's. Actually sat garaged for over 7 years and when we got around to running her again the crankshaft broke. So, we replaced everything needed three years ago and have the paperwork and empty pockets to prove it. (Have the complete invoice of everything done. Cost more than the car is worth (over $6000) so whoever gets her will be getting a good deal.) The cars exterior and interior is not perfect, not mint condition, but is in good shape. Engine is fine, no known mechanial problems. Top is soft top, no overdrive and there is no water damage or rust problems. Has 79,309 miles at time of listing but because of all done on engine there's plenty miles left. Because I am a private seller I require PayPal for payment and will not ship. Vehicle needs to be picked up. If buyer wants item shipped buyer will make those arrangements. Please ask questions before bidding. Vehicle is located a few miles outside of Caldwell, Idaho, about 35 miles outside of Boise. Anyone interested and able can come to look at, listen to and inspect the vehicle. On Apr-09-10 at 17:11:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle does have a clear title. The car is not a hard top. It is a soft top that lays down. Top is also in good condition, has no rips of tears. There has been no accidents involving this vehicle and no flood damage to the vehicle.
