For Sale – My 1985 Chevrolet D10/K-5 CUCV Military Blazer - No Reserve/Minimum Price LOWERED. Just hit 30,200 ORIGINAL miles and is in Exceptional shape for its age. Drives great and stops on a dime (doesn’t pull when you hit the brakes). Has the 400 transmission which shifts good, The 4x4 works great, this is a TRUE 4x4 with the lockable hubs. The 6.2 Diesel engine runs strong. It is still set up with the 24v dual alternator. Very solid body with very little rust. Looks like the floorboards were repaired at some point. The only reason I’m selling my CUCV is because I’ve just purchase a 1993 hummer which I plan to restore to its original glory (and I can’t afford to keep both). Very low reserve has been set. History (that I know of): This D10 came from Georgia, was stored in a bunker for the longest time. Was sold and painted white (can still see the original green in some sections under the hood) by the parks district (hardly used), Then sold to a farmer and then passed to his son. I’m the 4th owner. You can pull the vehicle history with the Vin# from Carfax. What I’ve done: Installed a new starter on it, New oil cooling lines, replaced all 8 glow plugs, installed a license plate light, and replaced old headlights with new Halon lights. Replaced oil pressure sensor with OEM part. Replaced almost all bulbs with new LED bulbs with are brighter and last longer. Replaced the rear seat back with a new original cover. All fluids have been changed. Installed CD player & speakers. Things I believe it needs (I’d fix if I were to keep it): 1. There are some small rust holes by the rear gun-racks which needs to be repaired, 2. The floorboard by the passenger door (where the step plate would go) needs to be repaired. 3. It is missing a spare tire and rack (which usually sits on the rear passenger wheel well) 4. The emergency brake sticks when engaged, thus I don't use it, needs to be checked/repaired. (Normal vehile brakes work great and stops on a dime) 5. The shift indicator (from Park, Reverse,Neutral, Drive) does not move (thats the little orange needle), Needs to be fixed. vehicle does shirt into appropriate gear, you just have to know what they are. This is a serious Bad Boy vehicle, I could go on and on to describe its possibilities for Off Road or on road use, but I figure if you’re looking at this ad, then you know what you’re looking for in this type of a vehicle. I’ve tried to describe things as I see them and to the best of my knowledge, if have any questions email me. This is a Daily Driver so mileage will go up a bit, I’m currently getting around 21 miles to the gallon. Title in hand. The back Top of the vehicle can be removed easily if desired by new owner (8 bolts). Obviously there is some normal wear and tear on a vehicle this age, thus this is an AS IS sale.
