Beautiful 1961 Volkswagen Bug in great condition. The pull back rag top is super nice, no leaks and looks great opened or closed. Original roof rack the chassis is from a ’73 model, floor pans have been powdercoated and are rust free. Nice paint, but not show quality, on a scale of 1 to 10, it’s a seven. I have included a few pics of some of the scratches on the car’s paint. Interior was recently redone in tweed. New brake master cylinder, wheel cylinder kits, replaced the transmission mounts. Engine has dual 1 bbl. Solex carbs, aftermarket short throw shifter. Incredible stereo system, an auxiliary battery has been integrated into the charging system letting you run the stereo until the power dies while the OTHER battery can still start up the car. Pioneer stereo, Memphis Audio amps w/ two 10 inch woofers, entire stereo system was professionally installed with a monitor mounted in the trunk. Runs and drives excellent! Can be driven everyday or a very cool addition to any car show or collection. Starts runs and drives great! The reserve has been set at $3,000.00. I am moving to a different location so I really need to sell this car, the stereo equipment alone is worth more than my reserve price so please serious bidders only!
