2001 Lotus Esprit Twin Turbo V8 VIN# SCCDC08251HA10297 Black exterior Tan hydes with black piping 3.5 liter twin-turbo V8 5-speed transmission Front & Rear spoilers Fog lamps Removable roof panel Dual airbags PW, PL, PB & A/C Pioneer audio system with AM/FM/CD in dash Anti-theft system Spare tire/complete OEM tool kit/Jack One key/remote CONDITION: This vehicle has very low (9,867 ) miles and the motor was replaced on 12/09/06, under factory warranty by Lotus of Scottsdale at 1,500 miles due to a cylinder leak. The clutch was replaced and the flywheel resurfaced on the same ticket. Note: the Car Fax dated 07/17/07 shows a clean title vehicle; while the Car Fax dated 08/15/07 reflects a salvage title vehicle. There was minor damage resulting in issuance of a salvage title which consisted of the upper and lower passenger A-arms and fiberglass wheel arch which were replaced by Triplex Autos in Indianapolis. We couldn’t find out what actually transpired, but it was minimal damage as stated previously. Car Fax reports and repair invoices are available upon request. The best we could conclude was that a salesman at the dealership had the accident. (figures) They wouldn’t go into detail. (stuff happens) Additionally, pictures of the previous minor damage are posted as well and no, it was not re-painted. The dust on the car makes it appear bluish in color, when in fact; it is the blackest of blacks. The Nevada rebuilt title process requires inspection by a State of Nevada certified body shop/restorer, and full certification inspection by the Nevada DMV. This vehicle has met the State requirements and has been issued a Nevada rebuilt (salvage) title. (See photocopy in photos)The paint is well cared for with minor imperfections. The tan leather interior is very clean with black piping accents. The wheels are factory OZ racing wheels. Tires are Continental ZR rated with minimal wear. This is a great car for the auto enthusiast or first time buyer looking to save money on their high-end purchase. Although the car runs and drives great, it has been in controlled storage and only started every week. It’s a real head-turner on the road when driven. The exceptional low mileage attests to this. Also, anyone who is involved with high-end vehicles knows that just because this is a rebuilt (salvage) titled car; the price is right.
