Up for auction is my 1999 BMW 328-IC. I bought this car last summer for my wife, and she prefers an automatic, so I'm selling this car. This is an extremely clean car, in almost perfect cosmetic condition and perfect mechanical condition. The only little blemishes are shown in the pictures. One is a very minor scrape on the right-rear wheel arch, which I've touched up with the proper color paint. The other is a small split in the driver's door panel near the lock. All else is darn near perfect. The previous owner had the seat leather replaced by BMW and the color is dove gray. It is equipped with power door locks, power windows, dual front and side airbags, driver and passenger power seats, Harman Kardon stereo system with 6 cd changer in the trunk, dual climate control with cold air, cruise control and new Cocomats.The car runs and drives perfectly and the transmission is silky-smooth. There are no leaks and the engine does not smoke on startup or otherwise. This car has always been garaged and a non-smoker's car.Mechanically, it needs nothing. I don't have the service records from the previous owner, but he is a doctor and had everything done at the BMW dealership. Here's what I've done since owning this car (I've copied and pasted from my service records): •Purchased 07/03/09 73,988 miles•07/05/09 74,124 miles Oil and filter change, 7 qts. Castrol Syntec 10w/40Bleed brakes, DOT 4 brake fluidChanged serpentine belt and A/C beltAir filter replacedReplaced window lift motor left side•08/15/09 75,000 milesReplaced all 4 rotors with Brembo and all brake pads with Akebono ceramic.Coolant drained, flushed radiator and engine block.Replaced coolant level float switch in expansion tank.Renewed coolant with Prestone phosphate free.•09/27/09 75,260 miles Drained gearbox, replaced oil with Royal Purple Synchromax synthetic. Drained differential and replaced fluid with Royal Purple 75/90 max gear synthetic. Replaced battery. •03/21/10 76,700 miles Removed P/S reservoir, cleaned, replaced hoses. Flushed P/S system and replaced oil with P/S fluid. I didn't like the stock wheels, so I bought 5 refurbished M-wheels and put new tires on them. The new rims are 17" (as opposed to the 15" stock) and the tires are Yokohama Avid W4S... they are brand new tires. The rims are BMW rims, not aftermarket. Note: the car is not the M model... just the rims are. I even replaced the plastic cowling under the wipers since the original had a little crack in it. I'm not sure what else to say... you won't find a nicer E-36 convertible out there. Feel free to have this car inspected. Please e-mail with any questions.
