Up for Sale is a 1975 1/2 Ton Dodge D100 Adventurer Pickup. I have owned this truck since 1984, and used it as a daily driver up to 1999. It has been used on and off since then to haul stuff. I used it the last three years to haul wood for our fireplace, at that time it had a homemade wooded rack on it. I could load a cord or more of wood and the truck easily handled the weight. The rack has been removed but most of the pieces would be available if you wish. The interior of the truck is good overall. All the gauges are original, except the tack which I replaced several years ago. The dash itself is in excellant condition with no cracks or cuts. Windshield was replaced about 5 years ago and is in good condition. Side windows and vents are fine, and work as they should. The truck has PS, PB, non-working freon-type AC, intermittent cruise, probably a vacuum leak. The radiator was replaced about 10 years ago, but has developed a pin-hole leak in the top tank, but seems to work fine if you leave the cap loose. The truck has rust on the cab (see the pictures) and the box is not very good, but has a wooden floor overlaid on the bottom. Transmission is the good 727, and was replaced about 10 years ago and probably has less than 3,000 miles on it. The motor is a 440 cubic inch. It had a minor overhaul 15,000 miles ago. Runs very strong. This is not a truck for an inexperienced driver with a heavy foot. The thermoquad was NEW less than 500 miles ago. Truck is a good starter if driven everyday or so. But will need to be primed if you let it sit. I am only selling this vehicle to get it out of the yard, the neighbors are starting to complain.
