TON of pictures here --->      http://www.rateadrink.com/insight.html Well your looking at one of the coolest cars to be in America... its the first Hybrid sold in the US, its full Aluminum.. ya no rust and LIGHT. When you pull up to another car chances are you have the most high tech machine.. this thing was hand built in Japan in the same factory the Honda Supercar was built (NSX and probably because the nsx is aluminum too) This car has some of the coolest leather seats in the world and door panels, every Insight owner would be envious. There is a custom flip up moon roof too! Then too boot you can get 50mpg easy in this thing. Its a 3 piston engine 1.0 liter displacement and a electric motor/generator sandwiched between the motor and transmission.  Ok so about 74,000 miles, 2000 Honda Insight  5-speed manual.  VIN is JHMZE1376YT003758.. I have no damage records on the carfax I have but im thinking someone ran into the passenger side fender at about 10mph. The plastic fender was busted, rim damaged and wheel hub, wheel bearing and axle(axle just had a siff ball joint) needed replaced. I fixed the car up with new and used parts on that side.  Great car as pictured, had a IMA light about 500 miles ago but put 6 great condition battery sticks into the pack after removing 6 lower performing sticks (it has 20 sticks btw). Could go off again im not sure. When the light came on for me i just disconnected the battery and waited 10min then pluged it back in and drove off. Seems to be working good again. I took it to Honda and they said the warranty was good until August 2010 so really you could take it there and get a new pack im not sure. I replaced the lower performing battery sticks in so im guessing if they knew i did that they might not warranty. You didnt do anything so they might warranty for you.  Its really easy to work on. The battery pack is cake to take out. I know this place http://www.hybrid-battery-repair.com/insight/index.html that would repair your battery for maybe 500-900 depending on if any cells need replaced and shipping is about 75 one way. Unfortunately, I have to pay some bills and dont want to sell this at all. I have people depending on me and trusting me here so i HAVE to sell. The headlight had some plastic missing from the back underside (doesnt seem to effect anything and was damaged in the fender bender so i just epoxyed that back together. New fender was painted by me so its not that great. The door had a dent near the fender i ended up using some filler and painted it. The car drives straight but could use an alignment. The frame was good but some of the unibody got smashed up behind the fender but nothing to worry about.. its aluminum a softer metal so it moves easily. Really a great car and you will fall in love with it.
