Vehicle Detail
0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Up for bid is a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. This model has the Flex-Fuel V8 and 3.55 limited-slip rear end. This vehicle was retired from duty in Ohio last year with only 64K miles on! There is no sign of any damage or repairs inside or out. All that remains from the police gear are two small holes below the radio of the hand-held mic, a worn spot on the steering wheel, and the painted plugs in the roof and trunk. Since I purchased it, it has been garage kept and meticulously maintained. At 65K the car got brand new Goodyear tires, an oil change, keyless entry/trunk and professionally applied window tint. At 70k it got an oil change, new spark plugs, coolant flush, new transmission fluid and filter (no flush), new fuel filter, new serpentine belt, and a tire rotation. You will also notice that the front seats have been replaced with leather BMW seats that have power lumbar (up/down/in/out), headrest (up/down/tilt back-front), recline, up/down/back/front. They are a great edition to the car over the standard cloth seats. They are also heated on the bottom and back. I tested them with a 12v wire and they work great, I just don’t have the switches in the console wired. I still have the oem seats in the buyer would like them. The custom console (from a Ford Explorer) is also a great edition. The trip computer and rear audio controls in the console are not wired in. These two upgrades plus the factory cruise control (a must!) make the ride so much more comfortable. There are minor cosmetic blemishes as you would expect, but overall the paint is in good condition and has a great shine. Inside is less than normal wear-and-tear for a police car. The car runs and shifts great and has no known mechanical issues. The only issue is a scratch in the right-rear window tint. It is not visible from the outside but you can see it from the inside. It is pictured below. If you are in the Evansville, IN area and would like to take a look and drive let me know. My number is 812(four-eight-three)3630. This car is a lot of fun to drive: everyone gets out of your way and the cops wave as you go by! I hate to see this great car go, but one of my cars has to go. If you would additional, specific pictures let me know and I will take them. This really has to go: the reserve is well below the NADA rough trade value. I can pick up at Evansville regional airport (EVV) if needed. I don't mind shipping, but the buyer is responsible for arrangements. On May-29-10 at 10:39:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention at 70k miles I also replace the front rotors and pads, and the air filter. The rear brakes were roughly 70% at that time.
