1971 Ford Ranchero Item Description: Very clean daily driver. This car was restored in 1995 : The body was media blasted & painted, the paint was well blocked and looks really good today, all of the trim and bumpers were rechromed , with the exception of the windshield bezel and antenna base which were anodized black. I purchased the car in 2002 and have replaced / rebuilt the following: Radiator, engine, transmission, shifter, rear diff, seats and carpet (over $17,000.00 invested). The total mileage on car is 102691 and the mileage on the engine etc. is 17,000 miles. This car runs like a dog on fire but is also capable of getting decent fuel economy. I once got 19.8 MPG on a long trip while driving conservatively. The only thing this car could benefit from would be a modern brakes upgrade.
