Good solid 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door sedan. Repainted 6 months ago. New interior including headliner, parcel shelf, seat covers, carpet, door panels and dash cover. The 289 was not running and thought to be locked up when I purchased this car (see picture). We pulled the 289 and replaced it with an 80s era 302. The 289 will be included with the car if you want it. C4 automatic transmission and 4 wheel SSBC disc brakes are also in the car. It has 17 inch Shelby style wheels with new tires. New front seat belts. The car didn't have a radio when I bought it and I found one we installed. There is not a speaker installed. (was going to do the hidden modern stereo thing). Runs good, stops good. Power steering, manual brakes. Wipers work, including the foot pedal operated washer/wiper combo. The bumpers were powder coated. It does have new windshield and rear glass rubber. It has new felt door inserts for the glass. All glass is good and all windows roll up and down. No A/C. Make a great cruiser or beginnings of an unusual hot rod. Trim on right rear window was bent at the body shop and I am currently trying to replace it. Gets quite a few looks when she is on the road. On May-20-10 at 16:15:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Well, back from Midas. Everything was good and it needed a donut and a new hanger pipes and muffler were all good. $34 and change.
