1997 Honda ST1100

I have a wonderful 1997 Honda ST1100 with 54k miles for sale. The bike has many new updates including, newer front and rear Avon Storm tires both tire have less than 1500 miles... the front being newer than the rear. The windscreen is an XL by clearview with the upgrade vent like on the Goldwing. The seat is about a year old and is a Travelcade gel seat and very comfortable especially for a long day on the road. The shock is two years old and has no problems. The fork springs were upgraded to progressive springs and fork oil changed about a year ago. The brakes are about half, not reasonable to replace at this time. New battery. The engine is strong and runs good and cool, a full tune up was performed a year ago which is only about 5,000 miles unfortunately. The bike has a Givi lockable trunk and the two hard case saddle bags for plenty of storage space for weekend camping trips, I have upgraded the stock bulbs to the higher wattage kind and also added some fog lights. They are cheaper but help a lot at night when you do not have street lighting. Speaking of which, the rear has the high visibility reflective material (visible in the picture) on the bags and bike so cars will see you from behind better as well. The bike is wired with a battery tender cable to charge the battery if needed. The only real bad about the bike is some fading on the red paint on the right saddle bag and on the right rearview mirror. With the bike I will throw in a Quest GPS and a matching red flip face helmet. The tank bag and ipod are not for sale and will stay with me... Autocom for sale with the bike for $125.00 if interested email me. I have clear title need to sell to buy my soon to be 16 year old son a car. Both will not fit in the garage. I have also gone back to school and spend weekends studying. This is a wonderful bike. I would get on it tomorrow and go to Alaska tomorrow, if only I had the time... I am located near DFW Airport.
