I have for sale my 2000 Silverado 1500 pick up truck with 5.3 liter V8. It has high mileage, but it is in great shape/condition. The transmission has less than 5000 miles on it and is warranted for another six months. When I had the transmission rebuilt I had them put a light shift kit in it and it shifts smooth and proper. It also has new main bearings and seals replaced when the transmission was out. They also serviced the transfer case with new seals and fluids all around. No oil leaks and it does not burn oil. I have always serviced this truck every 3000 miles per factory recommendations. The truck has a 3 inch body lift kit (that is why it looks like a 3/4 ton truck). I have adjustable air bags on the rear with a heavy duty hitch. I pulled a 2 horse trailer to horse shows for my kids to show. The truck also has duel exhaust with flow master mufflers (it sounds great). I bought this truck from an engineer when it has 172000 miles on it and all he used it for was to commute to work. I have used it almost exclusively on the highway traveling to horse shows and driving to work. It has a K&N air filter as well. This truck has many more miles left in it. Windows roll up and down as they should, cruise control works like new. As a matter of fact everything works just like it did the day the truck rolled off the assembly line. The check engine light stays on most of the time, the code has something to do with the exhaust which a mechanic said was due to the duel exhaust. The ABS break light is on, but that is due to the sensor, the ABS system works proper and as it should. You won't be disappointed in your decision to buy this truck.
