1971 Honda CL

This CL has a CB exhaust installed by the previous owner. The bike is in good condition. I tore it down to it's bare frame in the winter of 2008-2009. I repainted the frame, installed new rear shocks, repainted the tank and intake covers, replaced the clutch cable, cleaned and tuned the carbs, installed the clubman/cafe handlebars, and fixed some electrical bugs. I still have the original bars and they will be included with the bike. The bike tipped over on me when the stand sunk into some asphalt, so there is a small dent in the tank and a scuff on the headlight surround, but those are the only significant physical flaws. Chrome is in great shape, just needs a good polish. Mechanically the bike is in great shape. It starts right up and has an even idle. There is a kick start and an electric start. The only usability issue is that the speedo cable snapped at the end of last season and will need to be replaced. The apartment I'm at right now does not have covered parking, and doesn't allow motorcycles anyhow. The bike is currently being stored in my grandparents garage and I don't have the time to take it out. My loss is your gain, it's really a great bike. Full disclosure: I set the reserve at $800. That's as low as I can stand to let it go for it. I chose to go the reserve route to get attention to the bike.
