Vehicle Detail

Please read entire item description before bidding or asking questions. I am selling this truck for my father. However I have been the mechanic/tinkerer of it since he has owned it. I work out of state on a varying schedule, so I may not be able to answer questions via email. It is best to call me at 810-614-8038 for answers to your questioins about this vehicle. DO NOT call me to ask me to end the auction early. Truck will be sold through ebay ONLY, and that is final. Keith My father purchased this truck to use as a store display for our family business, however we have had to move it away from it's normal parking spot due to expanding traffic and further parking needs. We have decided to sell the truck because of this. The truck runs and drives quite nicely for a vehicle of it's age. The original motor runs strong, and the transmission shifts nicely. The mechanical brakes even work. The truck is 100 percent mechanically original, with the only change being to a 12 volt battery and alternator. There is no other electrical in the vehicle, and the headlights do not work. The exhaust system is rusted and needs replacement. The frame and suspention is in great shape, and very solid. The body is fairly solid, but has some rust through on the bottom of the doors and along the running board seams. The dump box has some small holes. The dump is hydraulic hand crank style and works great. You could actually use this thing as a dump truck still if you wanted to. The truck was the city of New Baltimore Michigans first commercial vehicle, and the truck comes with the 1932 Michigan License plate designating it as truck number one. The plate is not for sale separately, it goes only with the truck. The truck will travel at approx 45 mph, and has new tires on it. The rims have some rust through at the lips, but this does not affect the ability to hold air. In fact in the 6 or so years we have owned the truck, I think I've only had to air up the tires once. The truck could use some aliginment/front end work, as it does have a slight wobble at lower speeds. There is no title with this truck. We bought it with a bill of sale, and that is how it will be sold. I have crawled all over this truck looking for numbers, but have come up empty. The firewall ID tag is too weather worn to read accurately. The gas tank is the original in the dash style, and could use a good flushing out, as it has some sediment that sometimes plugs the fuel line. The truck could probably be driven home, albeight slowly. I would probably reccomend trailering it. I may also be able to offer delivery in North America for a fee. Call me for a quote. Full payment due within 7 days of auction close. Truck must be picked up within 30 days of auction close. After 30 days a $4 per day storage fee applies and storage is due on a monthly basis. Failure to pay storage on time results in forfieture of rights to item and no refunds will be made. Sold AS IS where is. Thank you and good luck bidding!
