1982 Porsche 911 SC- Ready For Summer! 75,000 original miles. Excellent condition. Black leather/sports seats. Sunroof 5spd manual. Momo Prototipo steering wheel. Virtually new tires. Fully serviced and ready to go! I have owned the car for 2 years and bought it from the original owner's family in NYC. A major engine tuneup/compression test was done last summer. Since owning it I have done the following- new fuel pump, ignition, heat exchangers, exhaust system, (Dansk free-flow) mats, steering wheel, headlight, tires (Toyo Proxy T1R) and regular oil changes. I don't have any service records prior to me owning the car, but we had a pre-purchase inspection done by a buyer who, in the end, couldn't raise the money and there are no surprises. My mechanic is the most accredited Porsche mechanic in Canada. In depth info- The body/paint is in great shape and above average for a car its age. There are a few chips and swirls though but NO rust. The dash in NOT cracked at all and all of the trim/rubber/carpet is in amazing condition. Everything works except the A/C. I have never had it checked out because even when new, they never really worked that well! The wheels are original Fuchs and they could use a polish/refinish to regain that original mirror shine. The drivers seat is well worn. I have treated it with Leatherique to prevent cracking and it has worked, but there is a hole in the side bolster of the sport seat. These are the only issues I can think of. The car is an amazing feat of engineering and quality. Even though it is 28 yrs old, I would not hesitate to drive it from coast to coast!
