GREAT PROJECT CAR This is the story on my Porsche. The car had a water leak which I then quit driving it. At the time I didn't have the funds for the repair nor could I get anyone to change the water pump for me which in turn was the problem. So the car had sat. My brother had changed the water pump. Then we were having fuel problems which turned out to be a bad fuel pump which he had replaced. While we had the front apart he went ahead and replaced the Tbelt. After some work he had the car operable enough to start up and go down the road. My brother had a dispute with me and the next thing I knew the next time I had started the car the engine was idling really rough which I really think he had just messed with something to cause this idling problem. He then played dumb on me and stated he couldn't figure out the cause of the problem and quit working on the car. Now my brother races stock cars and has rebuilt many engines in his time. I truly believe my brother is just being a jerk in refusing to help me get the Porsche back up and running. The engine when it did go down the road was still very tight running. The interior will need some TLC mainly in the front. My brother was not kind on the interior because he felt once we had it running we would just replace the interior. The dash like a lot of Porsche's has warped and will need to be replaced or covered. At this point I'm not sure what electrical is working, however, before all of this the only thing that didn't work was the passenger window would fall off it's track due to the broken plastic wheel the window rides on.
