Up for auction is a beautifully restored 1955 Chevy Series 2 Half-Ton Pickup. This truck is in excellent shape, but not perfect, with a few minor nicks and scratches. Engine runs great, having only 2800 miles on the rebuilt 350 and turbo 350 engine and tranny. Truck is all metal with brand new door glass, gas tank, tailgate, rear bumper, wiper motor and radiator. From the pictures you can see a 3-inch scratch on the driver's side door and a small fish-eye in the lower driver's side windshield. Had it repaired but it is still just under half of the outer ring. Also from the pictures, you can see that one center cap has some small blemishes. The interior is nice, although the carpet is slightly worn on the driver's side. Also included with the purchase of this truck is a custom cover as well as touch up paint. In 2006, the truck was appraised at Ellingson Classic Cars, a licensed, bonded and insured appraiser, in the amount of $14,000.00.
