Up for sale is my 2004 BMW R-1150-RT. I am the second owner and I have all of the original sales papers, brochures and all service records. All service is up-to-date and the bike has 2 new tires. This motorcycle needs nothing; it runs and rides perfectly. Cosmetically, tho only flaw is a scuff on one of the saddle bags as shown in the pictures. A friend of mine was riding the bike and he fell over and scraped the fairing. It was minor and the BMW dealer in Charlotte replaced the damaged parts with brand new pieces from the factory. No "operational"parts were damaged... it was minor cosmetic damage as has been repaired as new (I did learn that the fairing on these bikes is not repaired when damaged, but is just replaced with new). For those who don't already know, this BMW is a 6-speed shaft-driven bike with anti-lock brakes, electric windscreen and heated grips. The seat is adjustable with 3 positions. The screen on the bike now is a Cee Bailey, which is a bit larger than the original. I do have the original which will go with the bike when sold. I'm selling because I don't ride much at all anymore. This bike has been garaged and really looks good. You won't be disappointed. I'll also throw in an almost new riding jacket and 2 year old helmet. The jacket is a 4 seasons Olympia Moto Sports XL (black w/yellow accents) Cordura and the helmet is a Shoei Syncrotec XL, white in color. It is a full face helmet, but the chin protection is hinged and can be raised. The helmet is in new condition and has never been dropped.
