1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra... picture one shows the original buck tag that indicates the car was built in Dearborn, Michigan as a King Cobra with t-tops , no air cond. , red paint , black int., standard 4 speed trans. ,302 V8 engine , to confirm this I called ford cust. services with the serial number and they had archives div. mail me confirmation ( pic. 23 ) that the buck tag is correct ! The t-tops dont leak, the power steering rack drips oil and I add a little every year, there is a scratch on the right front fender ( pic. 21). the rims are getting rough where the wheel weights have been put on and taken off over the years (pic. 20 ). The rear hatch seal is coming apart and little rust is begining and that is the only body rust on the car ( pic. 13) . The drivers side seat is ripped ( pic. 22) the bag for the t-tops is still in the back with the belts to hold them down. I installed new glass packs and tail pipes .I removed the cassett player that does not work and installed an am/fm 8-track player that does!( collection of 8-track tapes and original cassett player goes with the car ) I took the car to get PA State insp. 2 years ago and it passed but I could not get it stickered because I run an antique plate , I can run a regular plate but, I like the full coverage insurance for a mere 100 bucks a year ! I will not ship or deliver . I would not be one bit afraid to fill my car up with gas and drive it up to Salamanca right now. Buyer assumes all additional costs, which include tax, title and transfer. Buyer must pay in full within 7 days and pick up car in Du Bois, PA 15801 and transfer title at that time. Please keep in mind that the sunlight wreaks havoc on my camera. The color is bright red not faded orange and the interior is black not faded gray.
