Vehicle Detail

Bidding is on a 1972 Plymouth Scamp servivor. All original with no major repairs. The engine is a slant six with just over 33,000 original miles. Engine and tranny work great. Power steering that works so well, you can steer the car with one finger. Interior looks near new with no rips or tears in seats or carpet. Headliner and package tray are the original items and still looks great. All gauges, AM radio, and lights work including the glove box and trunk light. The carpet on the drivers side under the floor mat is faded but could be dyed to match. All doors and windows operate like new. This car has factory air conditioning that works fine and is a rare option for a Scamp. All glass is original. Plug wires and shocks are new. Firestone tires are new with less than 1,000 miles on them. Inside of the trunk looks very good with the original poly-glass spare tire and jack still there. The body is still looking good with a few touch-ups in the paint. There are two small, shallow dents on the passenger side that could be easily fixed (see photo). Side trim is good with a little peeling of the chrome. All chrome trim is very nice and still shines like new. Front and rear bumpers are very good with very, very slight pitting. Rear bumper on passenger side does have a little scratched area (see photo). Plastic grill is in mint condition. White vinyl roof is original and is in great condition. Slight rust may be starting under "C" pillars at welds (see photo). Paint is the original B3 blue or "Basin Street Blue" also known as Petty Blue. This was a rare color for this car and may have been special ordered. The rear roll pan was slightly dented up and scratched. I removed it and took out most of the damage and sanded out most of the scratches. It then was reprimered and repainted to match. The original assembly stamps, marks, and tags along with the build sheet are there (see Photos). This great little car was driven very little and kept in the garage in the summer, and stored in the winter. Cruises down the road as smooth as glass. Its been in a number of car shows and always seems to get a lot of attention. I have tried to discribe this car as best I can. If you have any questions at all, please ask. I will do my best to answer them. I am not looking for any trades, sorry. If you are the winning bidder, it will be your responsibility to pick up the car or arrange shipping. Sold "as is". Thanks for looking.
