I bought this Jeep as my winter vehicle this past fall. I have done nothing to it except replace a few fuses and work on a little bit of the surface rust. When I purchased it the seller gave me the receipts from the new brakes and the new muffler system that he had put in earlier that year. The entire exhaust system was replaced, basically from the headers back. I had it inspected on December 1st and have been driving it daily since. I have had no issues with the Jeep, and have put over 3500 miles on it. I have had to do nothing to the Jeep over the past three months, and it has been reliable each and every day. This would be a great vehicle for anyone looking to fix some of the issues below and turn this into an off-road machine, or if you are looking for a second vehicle to just rack the mile up on. Listed below is everything I know about it, I am not a macanhic and I’ve only owned this Jeep for 3 months now. I need to sell as I am moving, and have no room for it at the new apartment. Please note this is an older Jeep and not a new Jeep. It’s rough around the edges, but I’ve had great luck with it, and hopefully you will too. Good: The 4.0L engine that Jeep puts out is amazing 139K Miles (very low!) – Driven daily Stock Roof Rack Not lifted or modified Fully Functional Trailer package Does not leak or burn oil Fairly new muffler system Fairly new brakes Not so good: All season tires may have about 50% tread left The 4x4 does not work Once the Jeep warms up, it makes noise shifting, but I haven’t had any issues Paint is faded here and there, what you would expect for a vehicle this old. It has had it’s doors replaced at some point along with the right front fender, the are a slightly different color than the rest of the Jeep There are dents and chips here and there…really it adds character There is some rust, and it looks like some work has been done to the rocker panels The windshield has some small chips in it, but they passed inspection in December The interior is decent, but small holes in the fabric here and there The photos hopefully shows the condition as I describe above.
