Up ;for auction is a very nice Triumph GT-6+. Engine: 6 cylinders, dual carbs, runs very, very, strong. Transmission: 4 spd. manual. Shifts great through all of the gears and is not grindy. Brakes: Stops the car well. Clutch: Strong, no issues. Frame: Strong no apparent rust, passes the hammer test. Sheet metal: Very solid for its age. Bonnet, has some bondo around the arch. Not sure why, there is no rust there. May be a bit or hint of a bump. Not serious. Fenders up front, appear to have a hint of bondo in them but don't appear to be rusty, maybe a tynsy bit however, the bondo could have been used to "flare" the fenders, which by the way have not been altered or radioused in any fashion. Over sized tyres have rubbed or cracked some bondo out of the wheel lip area, but, it's all metal underneath. Probably tried to modify the look in some way. DOORS: Little bit of bondo, can't really notice any rust but possible door dings. REAR FENDERS: Same as doors, some bits of bondo but, crawling under the car and looking inside of the car behind the carpeted area, there are no rust holes or "caved" in areas that I could find. VERY CLEAN AND APPEARS TO NOT HAVE BEEN CRASHED. Inside paint behind gas tank, inside rear fenders and around is all gloss black. Outside has been repainted red. I believe the original color was either Black or White. ROOF AND HATCH: All appears to be good and straight, no issues. GLASS; Appears to be all good Electrical: All lights work. Heater switch is out. Wipers I believe work. INTERIOR: Seats need recovering, cracked and split. Carpet on floor needs replacing, in the back hatch area it seems o.k. to me. Headliner needs replacing. All interior items look and feel to be original, including the steering wheel. Odometer currently shows around 34,000 miles on it, however, I cannot guarantee that these numbers on this odometer reflect the actual miles on the car, engine, drivetrain, etc. It doesn't look like it has spent too much time on the road however, by the frame, and undercarriage condition. It looks very good for its age. TYRES: Tyres are good but are too big for the car. OVERALL VIEWPOINT: Great and beautiful car that is sky-rocketing in value. Harder to find now. Not perfect but a great car for the one who would like to have one to put a little time and effort in to. Loads of fun to drive. Scary fast car. Super light weight and quick. This car could be driven home. Short throw shifter, shifts quick. Engine runs and sounds nice. Exhaust is good. NOT RUSTED OUT. Some very slight rust holes show themselves in the passenger floor board, about as big enough to push an ink pen refill through, but does not appear to be big enough to push a pencil through, anyway, nothing to be alarmed about. APPEARS TO BE VERY SOLID. NICE GT THAT WOULD REQUIRE MORE TIME THAN MONEY TO MAKE IT VERY PRESENTABLE. Usually, it is the other way around. The car is being sold: AS IS, WITH NO WARRANTY AT ALL.
