I have for sale a 1978 CJ7. The body is complete fiberglass, including the hood and fenders. The body is in excellent condition. The Jeep has a six inch lift, four on the suspension, two inches on the body. The odometer reads 93040 original miles. This Jeep is great on and off the road. It drives without pulling or swaying with a perfectly straight steering wheel. 4WD is flawless. Tires are in great condition, with plenty of life. Wheels are aftermarket aluminum, in great shape with locking lugs. Tons of new chrome parts, more than any other Jeep, nothing was spared. All screws and bolts were replaced with stainless. Under the dash the wiring is secure and organized. The frame has minimal rust and is in great shape overall. Side step bars are perfect. The Jeep includes Wide-Trac axles and lockers from a 1984 CJ7. All leaf-spring bushings were replaced in the process. The motor is a stock 304 V8 with headers and glass-packs, married to a T176 four-speed tranny. The T-case is a Dana 300. The clutch and all surrounding parts are new. The flywheel was re-surfaced. All brakes are new, including the master cylinder. Jeep runs and sounds great, without lacking any power. The BestTop Supertop is in good shape. The windows are clear and the zippers are perfect, no snagging. The soft doors are two-piece, which interchange without any effort. The windows are clear and the zippers perfect. Most of the items on the CJ7 are new. All the gauges work perfect, as do the rest of the electronics.
