Vehicle Detail
This is the nicest K75 I've ever seen. I've owned it since '98 and bought it from a dealer in Orange Co. CA with around 10K miles. I'm the 2nd owner. It has been meticulously maintained and 100% garage kept. Starts and runs perfectly. New Metzlers with way under 1K miles. Original BMW paint. ABS works perfectly. I moved from SoCal to WA 3 years ago and haven't ridden much since. I really hate to part with it but need cash.On May-13-10 at 10:17:04 PDT, seller added the following information:Note - gotten tons of questions... details, details, details! This is an 18 y.o. M/C folks, and the paint has "normal" wear and is all original (except as noted below) and has nothing more than minor flecks and such. Mechanically I'd say she's as good as they get, and starts and runs like a Swiss (or German) watch. She's never been wrecked or had any major damage of any kind. The fairing is an OEM that was installed shortly after the first owner bought it. It's slightly taller than the original and provides a perfectly-tuned windbreak for long duration touring (which is where the vast majority of the mileage was accrued!) I did the shaft spline lube myself less than 1K miles ago (when I got the new tires). I had her serviced at the dealership and had all the required items done (up until approx. 5K miles ago). I have records somewhere and the "service record" (in the manual) has official stamps in it. On the very first day when I was riding home with her, I went to put her up on the center-stand in a gravel area and she dropped over on her side (ouch!) Nothing major, but I had to epoxy a small crack in the belly-pan fairing and re-paint it. Final note - every Beemer Dude who has seen this machine goes nuts about it. No kidding. I dropped the opening bid price but I am CERTAIN that this bike is worth FAR MORE than my reserve price.
