Well, boys. We're getting ready for an out-of-sate move and the missus told me it's her or the Scout. I've been thinking about it for a week now and have decided that the girl's gotta go...no, not the missus, the Scout. Really, this is tough one for me. She was built in my home town of Fort Wayne, IN when I was 4 years old, and my dad retired from International after 38 years. Please excuse me if I get a bit cranky during this auction, since I hate to see her go. She's just about as stock as you can get. The radio, wheels, air cleaner, and wiper motors are pretty much all that is after market. She has the 152cc 4-cyl motor that's easy on her dual gas tanks. I installed a solenoid to switch between the two tanks, which is a nice addition. She's got the back seat, which is somewhat rare in old Scouts her age. She has been in Arizona and southern Utah and the dry climates have saved her from the rust that plagues so many of those old binders. There isn't much more to say about her other than she's clean, runs strong, and will not be sold to anybody who calls her 'jeep'.
