Hello there, I have a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am. It is a W87 model,it has a 400 6.6 automatic with a posi rear end. It has 112850 actual miles. Bought it 5 years ago from a guy who bought it off a lady that used it for show only. She got up in age and was unable to keep storage on it, when she had it, it was painted black cherry. He painted it the original sterling silver he was relocating to California and couldnt take it with him so i purchased it from him because it was my dream car. It is not a show quality paint job but the car could be once again with a little time and money something I don't have at this time this is why I am selling it. The 400 runs nice has never had any problems with it since I have had it. The tranny shifts good, someone before me had a eldobrak intake and carb. I had headers installed with new dual exhaust but that will need to be redone because it rattles. The motor and tranny are supose to be matching numbers to the car but I am not sure because I don't now where the numbers are located to check. When headers were put on they told me they had to do something with the linkage and when u have it in drive and get on it, it jumps to neutral but if you start out in low 1 you won't have any problems I just didn't have the money to get it fixed. Over the weekend I took it on a 200 mile trip and had no problems so i would drive this car anywhere with hestitating. So with a little money and time you could have a real nice show car.
