1941 Chevrolet Military 1 Ton Cargo, G617, Similar to the Civilian Except it has Shocks all Around and Military Bumper. 4 x 2 Cargo. Truck Was Recently Painted for Parade Use, A Good Start but Needs a Full Restoration. Has Correct Military Hood Mark Number. New Tires All Around 7.50-20 Military and New Spare Also. Could use 6.50-20 Fronts, as Over Bumps Front Rubs Once and A While on Lower Fender. Truck Runs and Drives, Needs Restoration. Emergency Brake Good, New Master Cylinder but the Brake Lines are Bad and Need Replacing as Brakes are not currently working except for the Emergency Brake. Transmission is Sound and Clutch is Good. Engine Runs Like a Sewing Machine, but Needs Freeze Plugs Replaced and a Prior Repair on the Block Needs to be Brazed. Gas Tank is Good, no Leaks. Electrical Needs to be Gone Through, Charging System and Horn Work. Frame & Suspension Solid, Bed has Some Wood That Needs to Be Replaced, All Glass Good. Title Included, 45,000 Miles. Has Military Tags in Cab and One on Motor. This is Not a Restored Truck, Looks Good For Parades. Amatuer Paint Job. Similar to the CCKW look. Has Canvas on the Back. Close to a G506.
