Up for your consideration with NO RESERVE and at a low price for a quick sale is a 1969 Chevy C-40 1.5 ton flatbed dually work truck. I am starting the bidding at less than the local scrap price of the truck! This truck is equipped with a strong 6 cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. The truck is an ex U.S. Air Force vehicle. The truck still has the factory GM chalk numbers written under the hood. There is a U.S. military metal plate on the glove box door stating the government contract number, federal stock number, curb weight, payload,etc... of the truck. This truck has been sitting for the past year, but it had just had a complete tune-up and ran excellent when parked. Since then, the battery has been stolen out of it. With a new battery and some fresh gas, the truck will run great. I am only going to list this truck for auction 1 time. Since the price of scrap is up so high right now, if this truck does not sell, I will pull the motor/transmission and scrap the truck. I have a clear title in my possession that states that the previous title holder was the U.S. Government. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. This is a 40+ year old vehicle and is therefor sold as-is with no warranty. No bidders with less than 10+ feedback without contacting me first, or I will cancel your bid and block you from the auction. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due immediately after the auction end with the balance due by either cash/cashiers check within 7 days of auction end.
