Up for sale is one of the most sought after mustangs there is. An all original 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback! This is an R code Built at San Jose CA Mustang! That explains its nearly rust free body. Frame and floors are all original and solid! We had a Marty Report done and it confirms that this was a CA born mustang fastback with power steering and factory air! It has the original 289 V8 motor and C4 auto tranny. With just over 103,000 miles on it. Its still wearing most of the original Wimbledon white paint. This car is road worthy! I drove it all last summer. It has new breaks and tires all the way around it. We updated it modern headlights, new carpet, new front vinyl seats, dash pad and door panels and arm rests. Now for the things she does need. There is a crack in the windshield, needs a head liner and a battery. Front end alignment. There is very little rust and no big holes in the body but she does have surface rust and bunch of small dents and dings. And will need miner body work and paint to be nice again. Looks like all the chrome is there still. I have a folder given to me from the last owner that is stuffed with receipts and paper work of all the things that have been done to the car over the years. Its upkeep was very taken care of! Its hard to find a nice fastback these days let alone one that is not all hacked up and is all original. Dont let this one get away! Please do not ask me what my reserve is. And no I will not end the sale early. To be fair I will let it ride so everyone gets a chance at it. I will tell you my reserve is less then what the car is worth, but Im buying a house and need the cash for closing and so on. Please do not bid on this car if you don’t have the money.
