Vehicle Detail

This is a great old benz that I bought last Summer to restore. Since then I’ve invested tons of time into it and it should be a really nice daily driver grease car for somebody who can appreciate one of these old benzes. I’ve had lots of these and really enjoy bringing them back to life. Since I’ve had it I’ve done front end work and replaced the front tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings. I replaced the front shocks with a good used set since the ones on it weren’t functioning properly and had it aligned. It received new brake pads all around and new tires. The rear srs suspension has been replaced with a conventional shock absorber for a cheaper, more reliable system. It has new front and rear windshields with new seals and installed new rear hatch struts. The original engine had a bad knock so I have replaced it with a freshly rebuilt engine with rebuilt injection pump and new injectors. This engine has been in the car for a month and I’ve probably driven it less than 10miles since installation just to test drive it. While it was out I serviced the transmission and replaced the filter and torque converter seal. Has new belts, radiator hoses, oil cooler hoses and transmission cooler hoses, starter and motor mounts. Also has new shift linkage bushings, and front driveshaft flex disc. I replaced the climate control unit with a good working used one as well as the blower motor and a/c compressor. The a/c and heat both function well. It has new air filter and fuel filters and I have installed an added filter with water separator for running the car on veggie oil. It’s shown in one picture. I’ve done this same conversion on a few other cars with great results. I also put a new stereo and cd player in the car. The main problems with the car are the cosmetics. I’ve cleaned it up a bit since I got it. When I received the mats were missing from the floors so I have replaced them with ones from a donor car. The dash has some cracks in it and I have put a carpet cover on it. Also the front seats have good support but do have some cracks so I have put covers on them as well. The odometer is not currently working but the speedometer functions fine. There is some rust on the car, but that’s to be expected from something this age. The paint is still glossy and shines nicely. Also the two rear windows work, but need new regulators. When I got it they had bad switches, but I replaced them with working used ones. I bought this car with a bill of sale and have it registered. I will sell it with a bill of sale. This is acceptable for registration in the state of Georgia. Please feel free to e-mail me with questions or to come check the car out. You won’t find another one fixed up like this.
