You are bidding on a 4 owner, well kept, low 63,891 original mile 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet with a clean CarFax. This car is very original, straight with no rust, clean, runs and drives great. Options include 5-speed transmission, factory AC, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and leather. I have owed this car for the past 7 years. My father in-law owned it for the 5 years prior. Between the two of us we drove it 21,000 miles over the past 12 years, and it has always been garaged while in our care. Mechanically this car needs nothing. It runs perfectly. The motor runs strong and smooth and the transmission shifts flawlessly. All the lights, gauges, wipers and radio works. However, the power controls on the passenger seat need to be replaced, the directional- high/low stem floats between high beam and low beam, and the lock on the driver's side of the convertible top sticks. The wheels are the factory alloys. The Dunlop front 205/55 ZR16 and rear 225/50 ZR16 tires have no less than 60% tread left. The spare tire, tool kit, and compressor are all there and complete. The body is straight, no accidents, and has no rust. The paint is all original and in very good condition with a nice finish and only the typical minor nicks and scratches that would be expected of a car this age and miles. The door lock cylinder in the passenger door needs to be re-clipped to the door. All the parts are there. I have the wind screen for the back, and the convertible cover (as seen in the attached photos). The interior is all original. The leather on the seats is not cracked or ripped and only the normal amount of wear on the drivers seat side bolster from getting in and out of the car is evident. The carpets is all original and still in good condition. The door panels and dash are in excellent condition with no rips or fading. The top is original and in good condition showing just minor wear and about a 1 inch tear on the drivers side. You can see through the rear window but there is some fine scratches as should be expected on a 23 year old top. All in all this is a very nice original car that would make any owner proud. Based on some of the ads for other cars in this year range I have priced this car very reasonably.
