Vehicle Detail

Beautiful 1972 Big Block Pro Street T-Top Corvette. The last year with the chrome bumpers. This amazing car has a 454 block, stroked to 502 cu. Forged internals, Merlin square chamber heads, crane gold roller rockers, roller cam, 10.5 to 1 compression. Has a Weiand 8-71 Blower with twin Holley 750 carbs. Hooker long tube headers (Jet-Hot Coated) with chrome sidepipes. Professionally back halved with a Ford 9" rear end w/4.88 gears. Turbo 400 transmission with a 3800 stall torque converter. Pearl white with ghost flames. Newly recovered black leather seats, new top of the line simpson cam-lock harnesses. Rear tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro Sportsman, 33 x 21.5 x 15. Aerospace rear disk brakes. The car has a 4-point roll cage. 15 gallon fuel cell that fills through the stock location. The rear quarters have been stretched and contoured to accomodate the Huge tires and the rear window also to clear the roll bars. This car will draw a huge crowd whever you go. Thousands of dollars invested in new parts that I will list below. I personally have over 35k invested into the build of this car. New parts: * Custom Jim Davis Racing dual pass twin core aluminum radiator ($1,400) * MDS high torque starter * Billet Vacuum Pump (For power brakes) * Edelbrock High Flow endurashine water pump * March billet brackets/pully's for PS pump, Alternator * Mini high output chrome alternator * Wieand Blower Hat * MSD Ignition with timing retard dial * Simpson Cam-Lock harness * Auto-meter Gauges * B&M remote transmission oil cooler w/fan The car is located in Lexington Kentucky. I currently live in Amarillo TX but I will be back in Lexington on May 8th & 9th if you'd like to see the car. I am moving to Amarillo and have no room for the car so it has to go. The headlight and taillights work, but not the turn signals. The vac canisters for the headlights have been removed as I was in the process of converting over to electric lifts. (Headlights can be raised manually) A Pro Comp Tach with shift light is mounted where the stock tach goes, I still have the origonal cable driven tach. There is some slight bubbling in the paint where the headers meet the sidepipes. It is an older paint job but still looks great, I would rate the paint an 8 out of 10. It has windshield wipers but they are not connected to the motor. If you have any questions feel free to call me at (806) 316-9248 after 6pm on weekdays. Call be before bidding if you have a bid history below 10. I am re-listing due to never hearing back from the winning bidder.
