Vehicle Detail
I purchased this 1983 VF750F when living in Moab Utah in 2001. It was stock when purchased and I have added hard to find aftermarket pipes and a full fairing. I still have the original fairings and exhaust that will go with the bike. Two years ago I installed HRC Race pipes built by Mike Velasco for a Jim Granger mid 80's race bike, they make the V4 sound like a small block Chevy with a fat cam. Exhaust can be heard along with drive by on you tube at http://www.youtube.com/user/daelkman54#p/a/u/0/WoZL3PU3RIo, http://www.youtube.com/user/daelkman54#p/a/u/1/U8PFHKXV8xE, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKIfkFfmPvg (first start up of the day with choke), and http://www.youtube.com/user/daelkman54#p/a/u/2/G_JPUbv44mo. I purchased the fairing on ebay two years ago still in the original packing as shipped from Germany in 1986 and paid $900 to paint the fairing last year. It is an aftermarket full fairing manufactured by Keim in Germany. Included picture of pipes before installed and fairing before painted. Bike is excellent condition. Never not started immediately during the 9 years that I've owned it. In the last two years have installed new brake pads, rebuilt rear master cylinder, and speedometer cable. Dry weather daily work commuter. Stored in garage. Front right fork seal started to leak lightly this spring, starter switch slow has to be pulled back out with thumb (have been looking for a replacement for the past two years look at you tube), small dent in right of tank (been there since I purchased bike), black marks on back tail section from tail bag, front fender paint showing some age. Front tire 50% tread left and rear tire 80%. Wife making me sell because I got a new CBR1000rr two months ago. When dealer delivered new CBR he asked to go in the garage to see the '83 interceptor. Comments everytime it is ridden on the looks and sound.
