The throttle plates on the carburetor are stuck. The Ford 9 Inch axle width is apx 58" (overall, outside to outside), or apx 52" (inside, backing plate to backing plate). This is a direct fit for a 1965-1966 Mustang and is adaptable to many other cars like: 1967-73 Mustang, 1960-70 Falcon, Comet, Cougar, Torino, Fairlane, Ranchero, Montego, Cyclone, street rods, and many other applications.
