This bike is relisted because the high bid fell $200 short of the reserve. This time around there will be no reserve. For those of you looking for a stunningly beautiful adult owned Honda Valkyrie, here is one with only 10K miles. This bike, always garaged, has been lovingly pampered and babied it's entire life. For those of you not overly familiar with Valkyries, they are shaft driven, liquid cooled, 1500cc 6 cylinder bikes with tremendous power, speed and torque. They are 8 feet long and are considered a heavy bike. The engines are horizontal stroke where the pistons fire out to the side just like a Porsche car or a BMW bike. In this design, most of the engine weight is very low, which provides the bike a low center of gravity. As a result, handling is extremely nimble contrary to what the bikes' size and weight might suggest. With my apology to Harley owners, many riders consider Valkyries to be the king of the road. This particular bike has been so well maintained that it is impossible to tell from new. It sports a tombstone style windshield which is very clear. It also has saddlebags with quick release straps. A Corbin seat was added, but the original seat which is wider and softer is also included. The tires are about 70 to 75%. The only flaw on the whole bike is on the passenger portion of the Corbin seat where 2 or 3 very light and short scratches unfortunatley occurred on the leather. This bike brakes, shifts, handles and runs out beautifully like the first day it was new. It'll be impossible to stop grinning when running this perfectly balanced machine down the hiway.
