Up for sale is a 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE located in Kingston, NY. This is a one owner car that was bought new in 96 by my parents for around $32,000 I believe. The car was used by my mother to commute from Kingston to IBM in Poughkeepsie, so the milage is a little high (183,000) but the car was never abused. The car needs some love but overall looks good, and runs very solid. The Good. The car was always serviced by Kingston Nissan on schedule. The car is gold with an automatic transmission and fully loaded with tan leather interior, bose stero, climate control, pwr seats, pwr windows, pwr sunroof, etc...everything works like new. It has a Nissan V6 that provides good power while still getting great gas milage. The car has been used by me during the winter to commute to my job at hunter mtn. ski resort for the last few years so it comes with expensive Michelin Pilot Alpin snow tires that can be used all year with no problems at all. The car starts up everytime first turn, and runs excellent. Just yesterday I installed a new battery, both rear brake rotors and rear brake pads. The car also comes with front brake pads. The Bad. The car needs a good wash/wax and interior cleaned up. The interior is overall in good condition but the leather is torn in the typical spot on the drivers seat from getting in and out, that is the only tear. The front passanger fender was dented in a parking lot, and has slight rust on the bottom as result, that is the only rust and dent on the car. The car needs front brake rotors (not included) and the front pads (included) installed. The car also needs and inspection. I DO NOT reccomend driving the car with the front brakes as is! The car can be driven on and off a trailer or down a driveway etc...but please plan on towing the car home. I think that is pretty much it.
