Hi there, here we have '71 Plymouth Duster big block 4 speed project for sale. I picked this up not too long ago to redo, but due to limited time and space I am offering it up for sale. Frame and Body- Car currently has a '67-'69 Dart big block K-frame and front disc brakes. The frame on this car is exceptional. I frequently work on A-body Mopars and this one the most solid frames I have seen. The a-arm mounts are solid, crossmember near torsion bars are solid and all torque boxes (factory 4 speed car) are solid. I went up and down this frame with a pick hammer and could only punch through a small area on the driver side rear rail (see pic). This is the only frame rot and can be easily repaired by cutting/plating/welding a 3"x3" piece of 1/8" plate. The rest of the car is typical of car of this age. Fenders need work or replacement, doors need work/reskin, needs passenger side rocker work/replacement and both quarters. The floors are pretty solid, but do need patches on driver and passenger front. The trunk pan needs to be replaced. All glass is there, grille is missing, I have taillights and I might be able to dig up some trim. I do have the bumpers, but I forgot to pictures of them. Interior- Green bench seats front and back. Rally dash cluster will not be included in the sale so you will need to buy a gauge cluster. Correct original floor shift, finger release manual steering column and 4 speed pedal set are still the car. Drivetrain- Currently the car is a roller with a 7.25" rear loosely bolted in to roll around. I do have a 8.75" 489 case rear available separately (email for price). Car has a big block K-frame already installed. I have a 383 big block and A-body A 833 4 speed trans available separately (email for price). If you want engine/trans/rear with the car I can make you a very, very good deal. Title/paperwork- I do have a clear NJ title from an owner years ago. I will also include a bill of sale to the new owner. Payment and pickup- Buyer must make a deposit via Paypal of $500 within 24hours of auction end. Buyer must pay the balance within 7 days of auction end via Certified funds or cash in person (Will hold car for 7 days if paying by certified funds). Car must be removed from property in zip code 10918 (Chester, NY) within 14 days of auction end. Transportation of vehicle and all costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I do have friends with car trailers to refer you to, but again, this is not included in the sale and is the responsibility of the buyer.
