Vehicle Detail

for auction a great driver 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS. I had no intentions of selling this car, but an emergency has come up and it must go. NO RESERVE on this car someone will get a great buy. It has a 350 in it, that when you get on it you'd swear was a 454.. this car HAULS it! Has headers, good lopey cam, aluminum intake, nice holly 4 barrel carb. It is an older resto, the black paint is very shiny, but it does have some spots coming back out on it that will need attention in the future. The hood is a tall fiberglass cowl hood, the grill and lower front valance are in excellent shape. Obviously the RS hideaways were ditched at some point in favor of a regular grill and headlight bezels. Both front and rear bumpers are in great shape. This car runs great, i have seen no leaks, brakes are good, tranny shifts good. motor has great oil pressure. cranks right up every time. electric fuel pump. The car has steep gears, my guess is 4.11's, with posi. 10 bolt. I drove this car 100 miles just this past week in one day and it performed flawless. ran cool and drove great. the problem areas that will need attention are: passenger quarter has bondo/previous body work going around the wheel well, the center of the trunk pan has a few holes, the outer extensions are fine. there are a couple bubbles on the top roof and one spot behind back window popping back out. the floors seem really solid, i did notice a rusted spot on the outside underneath where the door/fender meet in that area. both sides. i'm todl this is a common spot and easy to fix. the frame is nice front to back. the interior is above average for a 67, the seats are nice, carpet is pretty good, console is nice, all gauges except speedo work. new door panels, the interior only needs a headliner and arm rests.. The wheels are welds and they are in good shape as well as the tires. The trim tag reads: 01C ST 67-12437 N0R 76181 TR 760-Z C-C W 2EMGS 3L decoding this says it is a V8 car, auto tranny, originally an RS, Ermine white, black top, with air conditioning, and tinted glass with console. Like i said this is a great project/daily driver car that can be driven as is. The car is straight, the doors shut well, and while it does need some body work.. you can go to cruises or car shows with it just like it is. It is an excellent starting point to get into a first gen camaro without having to pay $20k for it. I have done some research on ebay and comparable cars in this condition typically bring 15k or so. i am putting NO RESERVE i'll let you guys figure out what it's worth. If you have any questions please email. Don't miss this opportunity to buy a great 67 camaro. I am sure someone will ask.. can i drive it home 1500 miles to the northeast?? well i'll put it like this. i would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.. BUT you do so at your own risk. it is a 43 year old car and the warranty is the end of my driveway. The onky hesitation i would have about a long distance is the gears, it is buzzing at around 3000 rpm at only 55 mph or so. thanks for looking and good luck!
